We lobby, campaign, exercise laws and litigate to help secure the information rights and media freedoms that are the lifeblood of our field.
TRAINING
We provide training, editorial collaborations, organisational support and skills transfer to fellow media practitioners.

AmaBhungane can not accept funds from governments nor companies. For our independence and transparency, all donations/grants above R10 000 in a year are subject to due diligence and declared on the amaB website, and can not be accepted if they are from a government entity or corporate, or present undue risk of a conflict with our journalism.
