It caused public outrage.<\/p>\n<p>The story exposed the big-four bank\u2019s relationship with financial services firm Regiments Capital, a key enabler of state capture.<\/p>\n<p>The revelation that Nedbank had paid or promised to pay Regiments some R95-million \u2013 mostly a reward for introducing the bank to government business following a \u201chighly confidential\u201d commission agreement \u2013 was the fruit of months of painstaking research.
